Nigella sativa is also known as black cumin, black seed, kalonji and haba al barakah. It is not also knows as black caraway as some sites states. It is a fact that any cells in the human body can get out of control and starts its abnormal growth, known as cancer. Human bones supporting the body's overall framework and shape comprise two types of cells known as 1) Osteoblast – the cells forming new bones and 2) Osteoclast – cells capable of dissolving old bones. Usually, bone cancers are known as sarcomas having several types and subtypes. The naming of bone cancer is based on the part of the bone involved and tissues surrounding cancerous bones. Important to mention here is bone marrow cancer. This cancer is mainly in the bones' spongy tissues known as marrow, which is present inside the bones. Bone metastases are the complex type of cancer that affects bones originating from other cells and spreading to bones. Prominent are breast, prostate, and lung cancer that cause bone metastases.
